Onero™ is an evidence-based exercise program, for individuals with osteoporosis. We run >25 Onero™ classes per week, with the aim to maintain/increase Bone Mineral Density (BMD), prevent falls, and improve musculoskeletal strength, health and quality of life.
Stay Grounded classes are designed to improve your balance, mobility, coordination and prevent falls. Each session focuses on building the confidence and skills needed for safe movement in daily life. The class is adaptable to all capabilities, ensuring that every participant can progress at their own pace. Stay grounded, stay steady – taking your balance training to the next level.
The aim of this class is to elevate your heart rate and promote a cardiovascular response. As you progress in these classes, you’ll enhance both your cardiovascular health and overall strength. Each exercise is adaptable to meet the needs of all Nordica Health members.
I have participated in the Onero exercise program at Maroochydore for 2 1/2 years and it’s been a life changing, rewarding experience for me in managing my osteoporosis.
